TWITCHERS SPECIAL


We have a wide variety of birds which have been spotted on our park from twitchers, which include;


Artic Turn, Blackbird, Blue Tit, Buzzard, Canada Goose, Chaffinch, Coot, Crow, Cuckoo, Great Spotted Wood Pecker, Great Tit, Grebe, Green Woodpecker, Grey Lag Goose, Heron, House Martin, Jackdaw, Jay, Kingfisher, Long tail Tit, Magpie, Mallard, Moorhen, Partridge, Pied Wagtail, Robin, Rook, Sparrow, Sparrow Hawk, Starling, Swallow, Swan, Swift, Tawny owl, Thrush, Tree Creeper, Willow Warbler, Wood Pigeon, Wren.


Each year our regular twitchers spot new birds around our park. From the 2005 season, if you are able to find other species (we are sure there are) please let us know.


FISHING


The lakes have a selection of course fish some up to 30lb in weight. Some of the fish you might expect to catch are;


Bream, Tench, Rudd, Roach, Perch and Large Pike. These can be caught on a variety of baits, so why not come and try your luck!


We will gladly host fishing matches with prior notice, individuals being responsible for their own rod license.
